Also, today Justin was playing this really great PONY BONES (from Atlanta) CD-R in the car and it totally blew my mind. A lot of four-track-recorded plunkety junk. I'm going to try to post one of those songs so that you guys can hear it.

SOCIAL JUNK on MySpace: Birmingham show included In case you missed the SOCIAL JUNK show at AC Temple show on Feb. 20th, there is a post on their Myspace of the Birmingham show. I usually wouldn't suggest listening to music via Myspace, but somehow the fullness of their sound translates to my dingy computer speakers, compressors and all. These guys are more junk from West Virginia. They totally brought the house down Appalachian style. They remind me a lot of Axolotl playing with Mouthus. (Hmmm . . . those guys are maybe a little too prolific . . . ghostwriter?)
I thought that since today has a ghost-in-the-woods theme, we should all take a look at some ghostly web art by ANTOINE/EXORCIST of Montevallo, Alabama.
